If you want a file from this directory to be removed, drop me a line at koot=>cyberwar.nl ("@" instead of "=>"). Note: this directory is open by intent, not by security misconfiguration. Its purpose is to enable search engine crawlers to index its contents so that others can find these documents, which -- as the internet has it -- typically eventually disappear from their original source or are or become non-indexable there. The "/d/norobots" directory contains files that I want to retain but that for varying reasons I prefer not to show up in search results. Not because they are secret, but because I do not want to poison other people's search results for those. For instance, if someone searches for (contents of) an official publication, a search engine should see authentic official sources at the top. But I've noticed that my personal domain often pops up as first or second search result -- higher ranking than the official source. Files that I want to prevent that from happening to are placed in the files in the "/d/norobots" directory, for which https://cyberwar.nl/robots.txt requests crawlers to exclude it (not all search engines respect robots.txt though).
